Can I add an airport from Google Maps?

Yes. Just click on the airport to drop a pin and leave the Altitude set to 0 to spawn at the runway elevation. Often Google lists the ICAO code in the name of the airport, but you can search Google for it in a browser to look it up. It is not necessary for the ICAO code to be correct for the flight plan to load, but certain glass cockpit features may not work properly.

How can I add an airport to my flight plan?

Using Flightplan you can take off and land anywhere, so basically the world is your airport. You can set your aircraft to spawn floating on a lake or bay, or sitting on top of a sky scraper. But you can also add a legitimate airport on-the-fly in Flightplan. Just look up the ICAO code (optionally) and drop a pin on the map where you want to spawn to create your airport.
